Splashed by DKG is a fashion brand that exists to make everyday look and feel like a runway. We firmly believe that when you look your best, you feel and can perform at your best.

Splashed by DKG was founded in 2013 by Daniel K. Grier.

Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Daniel began his career in his mother’s garage in 2013 by transforming plain denim garments into one of a kind statement pieces. The process, now known as “splashing” quickly became popular in Birmingham and surrounding areas. Though the method has become more refined over time, each Splashed by DKG garment is still done by hand and is therefore unique in its own right.

Splashed by DKG began as a project to reinvent classic denim pieces by giving them a new life by adding its signature Splash. Since its debut, Splashed by DKG has been featured in magazines such as B-Metro, Kontrol, Sheen, IPush, and Imperial to name a few. Online publications such as, and Countless news publications and interviews such as The Birmingham Times, Talk of Alabama, CBS 42, The Daily Beacon, and many others. The brand has presented in several fashion weeks such as Nashville Fashion Week 2017-2019, Knoxville Fashion Week, and Co-Founded Magic City Fashion Week in 2017. Several celebrities have made a Splash in Splashed by DKG such as Tamar Braxton, Ty Hunter, Goo Goo Atkins, Jasmine Burke, Mishon and Former OMG Girl, Bahja Rodriguez. Splashed has even been featured on tv shows such as “Braxton Family Values,”and “WEtv’s Cutting in the ATL.”

Daniel K. Grier

Daniel Grier is an Atlanta-based Wearable Art Designer and Community Activist from Birmingham, Alabama. In 2013, Daniel founded Splashed by DKG, a sustainable Street-Couture brand known for its bold, meticulously designed textiles that elevate classic designs for the fashion-forward man and trendsetting woman. He is also a Community Health Educator and Activist who has worked with many different non-profit organizations to reduce stigma and new infections of HIV/AIDS. Apart from his work as an Artist and Activist, Grier also serves as Creative Director for Magic City Fashion Week. A fashion week he Co-Founded in 2017 to cultivate, connect, and showcase the artistic community of Birmingham, AL through fashion while promoting HIV advocacy and education. DKG has made quite a Splash on celebrities such as Tamar Braxton, Ty Hunter, Jasmine Burke, and Goo Goo Atkins, featured on WEtv's "Braxton Family Values," "Cutting it in the ATL," and countless other fashion weeks, shows, and magazines.
